Washington D.C., September 2021—- Today Interlink, a financial advisory, fund management and consulting firm, and Intetra, a premier provider of end-to-end solutions for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Electronic Toll Collection Systems (ETC) based in Turkey, launched a joint venture to enter the North American marketplace. Interlink, based in Washington, DC, will act as Intetra’s local partner as it expands into the U.S. market, arguably the world’s largest.
Intetra brings a unique approach with one of the world’s largest tolling solutions based in Turkey, which manages complex traffic and mobility challenges. It has recently expanded into Denmark and Kazakhstan. Intetra’s systems are “easy to install, operate, and maintain – a huge time and cost-savings realized over previously installed inductive loop systems, which required cutting into pavement and re-routing traffic to make improvements,” says Intetra’s CTO, Recep Bahar. “[It’s] lidar-based tolling system is truly groundbreaking.”
